Appeals

An appeal is a process whereby a higher court is asked to review an action or decision of a lower court, an official government agency, or other body that has judicial/binding power. Normally an appeal is sought by the party that lost in the lower court. In some cases, either party may appeal the decision if they are dissatisfied with the final judgment.
